In the summer of 2016, Mazda is handing out 10 Golden Festivalbracelets. With it, winners can go to every festival in NL for free for an entire summer. And bring a mate. First Day of Spring asked me to come up with a concept to support this campaign. Together with Joris Kang’eri I decided to visualize the promise of ‘All the music you can handle’ (the payoff) in a grotesque one man band outfit.
We shot this commercial on the Lowlands festival grounds. I broke my foot the week before, so I directed it from a wheelchair.
